Five Summer Chillers To Keep You Cool

Summer has officially arrived. Keep cool during these sweltering days with iced and frozen beverages or a splash of a refreshing flavor added to your coffee. Here are a few recipes to help you keep your cool during these lazy, hazy days.  

Peach Tea

Peach TeaRipe juicy peaches are the star of the show with this Peach Tea. Served over ice, this super refreshing iced tea is perfect on its own or served with lunch or dinner.   Ingredients (12 oz. glass) 1/2 oz. Monin Peach Syrup 6 oz. Freshly Brewed Tea   Directions Fill serving glass with ice. Add the remaining ingredients. Using a mixing glass or tin, roll the ingredients back and forth to mix. Garnish with lemon slices, a peach slice, and a sprig of mint.    

Tiger’s Blood Soda

Tiger's Blood SodaMake your own delicious sodas this Summer with your favorite flavor combinations of Monin syrups. These gourmet syrups are made with pure cane sugar and, depending on the syrups, no artificial flavorings. This fruity soda has lots of flavor and only 75 calories per 12 oz. serving. Compare that to the 180 calories of typical sodas.   Ingredients (12 oz. glass) 1/4 oz. Monin Coconut Syrup 1/4 oz. Monin Strawberry Syrup 1/4 oz. Monin Watermelon Syrup 4 oz. Club Soda   Directions Fill serving glass with ice. Add the remaining ingredients. Using a mixing glass or tin, roll the ingredients back and forth to mix. Garnish with a strawberry or slice of watermelon.    

4th of July Sparkler

4th of July SparklerThis festive drink is a lovely little cooler ideal for your July Fourth celebrations.   Ingredients (16 oz. glass) 1 oz. Monin Watermelon Syrup 5 oz. Green Tea 2 oz. Lemon-Lime Soda Watermelon Wedge   Directions Place watermelon wedge in glass and fill with ice. Add syrup and tea. Stir to combine and top with soda. Garnish with a sprig of mint.    

Blackberry Mango Lemonade

Blackberry Mango LemonadeRefreshing and light, this fruity lemonade is the perfect way to chill down on a hot afternoon.   Ingredients (16 oz. glass) 1/2 oz. Monin Blackberry Syrup 1/4 oz. Monin Mango Syrup 7 oz. Lemonade   Directions Fill serving glass with ice. Add the remaining ingredients. Using a mixing glass or tin, roll the ingredients back and forth to mix. Garnish with blackberry, lemon slice, and sprig of mint.    

Lavender Espresso Tonic

Lavender EspressoFloral and fresh, this cooler is a delightfully different take on the iced coffee.   Ingredients (10 oz. glass) 3/4 oz. Monin Lavender Syrup 4 oz. Tonic Water Double Shot Espresso   Directions Fill serving glass with ice. Add ingredients in order listed. Stir gently.
