Medium Roast Coffee
Medium roast coffees have been roasted well into the first crack stage. The temperature of the beans at this point is between 410℉ and 445℉. The color of the beans will be darker but they will still be dry. The natural flavors will be less noticeable at a medium roast as the roasting begins to mask less desirable flavors found in the beans. The roasting will begin to add more body and balance out the coffee. This roast is also known as Breakfast, American, City, and Regular.
