Our Direct Trade program lets you learn more about the farmers behind this exquisite coffee!

Joel and his wife own a 2-acre farm on the outskirts of Dondon Haiti, 75% of which is filled with coffee trees. In addition to his own farm, Joel also works at a local coffee tree nursery tending and managing the seedlings. The sale of this coffee allows him to manage 3 other people, and he's making plans to start his own nursery.

Francis was a physics professor in Port Au Prince. After finishing school in Miami, he went back to Haiti to use his resources and education to help others create a sustainable business for themselves. He's now the president of the co-op and runs their "Own a Tree" Program that donates coffee trees to help new coffee farmers get started.

Pierre owns a neighboring 2-acre farm, and he used to be unemployed before joining the co-op. Now, he's one of the hardest-working members in the group, and thanks to the Direct Trade program he makes enough to allow a stable and secure life for his family.

Very good!

This one is very similar to Jamaican Blue coffee. It’s medium bodied and has a nice nutty flavor. I enjoyed it!

no taste for me

I have tried many of coffee am's coffees and while I have my favorites (Bali Blue Moon, Sumatra Mandeling, and their organic gourmet house blend) none have left me as disappointed as this one. I don't even now how to describe it. VERY bland and without flavor a bit like drinking mildly flavored hot water. I have tried changing my usual grind level before each cup I brew , using larger amounts of beans per cup, and nothing so far has improved it. I hate to give it a low rating as my other ratings have been high. Perhaps I just got an "off" batch. I don't know.

I wrote a review it was taken down !

I wrote a review that was pretty harsh. I get it they are stuck with metric tons of it. I donate to organizations to help kids that were trafficked out of Haiti monstrous. This company might want to help this country out of the goodness of there hearts ❤️ very honorable.I want you to watch but it was stricken from YouTube gods . Just research there fertilizer practices online . I see 5 stars on this coffee I scratched my head saying maybe I had a nasal infection? So I went to a container i already ground shook it up opened it smelt it. It smelt like cardboard. So I ground some more using a steril clean grinder. It stunk like boiled eggs . Then I became upset because I wrote this company coffee am explained I buy 5 -1lb organic coffee every 3 month I consume it myself. They never responded back not even to say we will exchange the bag of coffee beans you bought or to even say sorry. I will buy direct now because there lack of judgement ignoring me. Sad 😞 I thought I found my coffee company! I seen a horrible video on this coffee. I seen comments like mine here it smelt like boiled eggs .
