Grown on the Kaanapali Estate on the island of Maui, Yellow Caturra is a distinctive coffee variety known for producing yellow coffee cherries when ripe rather than the more common red cherries. The warm, dry growing conditions of West Maui help this varietal thrive, producing a smooth, clean cup with a gentle flavor, lower acidity and subtle spicy notes.
Medium roasted by CoffeeAM, Maui Yellow Caturra offers a balanced combination of smooth body and delicate spice, with hints reminiscent of cinnamon and allspice.
