Highlander Grogg Flavored Coffee

I had a Highlander Grogg from a different roaster (as a gift) and loved it. I really like CoffeeAM and have been buying from them for years. I was happy to see they also carried a Highlander Grogg and was eager to try. The bag that we received (whole bean) was so oily my grinder became jammed. It also reeked like bad perfume. I am really impressed with the customer service. I called and another bag was shipped out to me. This bag grinded a lot better, but that horrible perfume smell just consumes this. There are other beans that I love so I will stick to those, but this flavor is so over powered.

Received my order yesterday. Couldn't wait to try it. Opened it up and to my surprise NO AROMA !! Just smelled like a mild regular coffee. Brewed a pot and sure enough, not much taste at all. Just a normal, mild regular coffee taste. Very disappointed !! Will mix with one of my other choices and hope for the best.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews. I have ordered this coffee for years. Last order wasn’t right something had changed it didn’t smell the same or taste the same. It wasn’t good! I emailed customer service he sent out another bag. It has a slight chemical smell and doesn’t taste good as well. I did some research and found that they have moved to Colorado and I guess well I can taste that who ever made the Hilander Grogg coffee didn’t move with them! So let’s move that coffee back to Georgia please!

Their coffee is always fresh and delicious. It’s a shame they ended the free shipping for purchasing two 5lb bags of coffee. The older bags were much easier to work with..
