Organic integrity begins with production, and this is why we ensure that every single coffee bean in our Organic French Roast is grown, harvested, and processed with environmentally favorable practices; there are no man-made chemicals or pesticides used to grow the coffee trees or to process the coffee beans. Because we are Certified Organic Handlers, you can rest assured that from the fields to our roastery, these organic coffee beans are handled properly.

Dark roasted to perfection, our Organic French Roast is full of delicious flavor and enticing aroma. With a light acidity, this coffee leaves a delightful bittersweet essence behind. No matter what time of the day it is, you'll enjoy the delectable flavors that this specialty coffee offers.

Definitely one of my favorites!

I buy this Organic French Roast coffee and toggle between it and the Organic Black Satin, roughly every other week, for the variety. (Based on the similarity in flavor, I suspect that the Black Satin is definitely one of the ingredients in this French Roast, combined with others of similar character.) I highly recommend them both, for the full spectrum of reasons. Firstly, they are certified organic, which I consider an essential with coffee, since heavy used of pesticides is the norm for coffee, by in large. That said, there are many food crop products that are grown meeting the organic standards but are not labeled as such because they don't pay the ongoing fees for certification inspections, etc., or perhaps fall short to a minor degree. (Referring to the Black Satin, as I understand it, all coffees grown in Sumatra are grown per organic standards, essentially by law, so it might be a good one to consider among those without the actual certification, as far as that goes. There are probably other regions and nations that require similar standards, as well, so doing your research might yield a few organically grown products that are not labeled as such due to not being certified.) Of course, non-GMO, a given with the certified organic, but also certifiable by itself, comes in next, as a definite must.

The next important factor is that the coffee is dark roasted, which is your healthiest choice and also gives you the most versatility on how much you'll need to hit your…

The next important factor is that the coffee is dark roasted, which is your healthiest choice and also gives you the most versatility on how much you'll need to hit your pallet's particular, "sweet spot," (and you definitely will!). I also recommend paying attention to the temperature of your coffee when it tastes the best and when it doesn't. I find the peak taste and temp arrive once it cools to around 165º and even down to about 145º on taste alone, though the lower temp is less…
