The little Bodum Brazil - 3 Cup

I love Bodum presses...they always work well...but I have to say we all had a moment of laughter when I opened this one and out came a mini press. I would say to everyone...Be Aware that they mean three 4 oz cups, and with the grounds taking up part of that space, it is really a single cup press...great for personal use...We had some laughs about Turkish coffee cups and things...but customers need to be aware that they do Not mean 3 8oz cups.

The Perfect Coffee Pot

This French Press makes the best single cup of coffee every time...

I also own a grinding coffee maker as well, but when in a hurry--

The French Press is my "Express Coffee Pot"

Perfect Size for 2-3 People

There is a major misunderstanding when it comes to enjoying espresso as well as French Press Pots. Coffee itself when made in an espresso machine, a Moka-Pot, or a French Press is not meant to be poured into a 20oz mug. If you want 20oz mugs of coffee, stick with Folgers or Maxwell House (I'm not sure if they are even still on the market b/c I don't drink either of these brands or any others including those in the open-air pull slots because they are super-stale before you even make the purchase).

The French Press design is for French-style coffee brewing, which can be rather strong to the unaccustomed espresso or French Press appropriate coffee beans rank high on the list among Cuban cigars, properly pulled espresso/espresso-based coffee. It is an enjoyable experience that pleads for sitting down to enjoy the nuances versus being in a rush to go from here to yonder. As I mentioned in other reviews, this is not your "No-Talent, Burnt Beans, Dredged Swill served at $tarbuck$!" The two are worlds apart, galaxies apart...

This French Press is easy to use, easy to clean, and it is quite durable. The only additions required for the 3-cup French Press here is a set of cups and preferably a way to heat them so the freshly pressed burr-ground beans will retain heat longer allowing for a longer enjoyment time and can be matched with most any dessert imaginable after a nice meal, preferably one at a 5-Star restaurant leaving someone else to do the dishes and the clean up while you…

Not really a three cup press.

I received this item with the expectation that it was actually a 3 cup pot. It is not, it is a 12 oz pot, not a 24 oz pot as described. (their cups are 4 oz each, not 8 oz like the rest of the world.

The press brews a strong wonderful cup of coffee though.
