Perk up: Coffee Could Cut Your Skin Cancer Risk!

The list of reasons to enjoy coffee keeps growing!  A recent report published in the journal Cancer Research indicates that the more caffeinated coffee you drink, the less your chances are of developing basal cell carcinoma, the most common form of skin cancer.  Over 100,000 people were studied over a 20 year period, and the results were clear: if you drink two or more cups of coffee a day, your chances of developing basal cell carcinoma are lower! Apparently, caffeine is what does the trick.  Tea, chocolate, and other caffeinated beverages seem to help lower the risk, too.  The benefits of drinking coffee just keep adding up; it's also been shown to help with Type 2 Diabetes, Parkinson's Disease, and more! If you needed another reason to love coffee, this should do the trick!  So enjoy that extra cup; we'll be right there joining you!
Enjoy!
