Halloween Coffees At Home

Did you know there’s a secret Halloween menu at that well-known, over-priced coffee shop? You can make those same coffee drinks at home for a fraction of the cost! All of the ingredients are easy to find and the drinks are simple to make. Read on to learn about these coffees and how to make them.

This Is Halloween

These first three drinks are from the beloved Halloween movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas. Our lovebirds Jack and Sally each have their own versions and our big, bad guy Oogie Boogie is repped, too! Having a Halloween party? Share them all!

Batman’s Nemesis

Over the years, the character of The Joker has gotten progressively scarier. Let’s take a step back towards the fun, campier side of The Joker with this secret menu item.

The Joker

  • Make a “smile” on the side of your serving glass with strawberry syrup.
  • Fill with Matcha Green Tea Creme Frappuccino.
  • Top with whipped cream.
  • Sprinkle with purple sugar and drizzle with chocolate syrup.

Use our Mocafe Matcha mix, Ghirardelli Chocolate sauce, and Monin Strawberry syrup.

The Usual (Halloween) Suspects

There’s something to be said about going retro. The next three secret menu items take us back to some classic Halloween characters: Frankenstein’s Monster, Zombies, and The Werewolf.

Frankenstein’s Monster

  • Drizzle the inside of your serving glass with white chocolate sauce.
  • Fill with Green Tea Frappuccino with an added pump of peppermint syrup and chocolate chips.
  • Top with whipped cream and a chocolate syrup drizzle.

The Zombie

Rather than a frozen drink, The Zombie is served over ice. It doesn’t look very appetizing but that could very well be the point. :)

  • Fill your serving glass with ice.
  • Pour berry tea over the ice to 3/4 full.
  • Add lemonade and a scoop of Matcha Green Tea powder.
  • Sweeten with simple syrup to taste.
  • Drizzle with raspberry syrup.

The Werewolf

This one will keep you up and howling at the moon.

  • In your serving glass add chai frappuccino.
  • Add two shots of espresso.
  • Mix in a pump of cinnamon dulce syrup.
  • Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Use our Big Train Spiced Chai mix, your favorite CoffeeAM espresso blend, and Monin Cinnamon syrup.

  • Top with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
