Grown in the region of Harrar, Ethiopia Longberry coffee is one of the oldest cultivars of the Arabica coffee bean varietals. Discovered by accident, this legendary coffee has a unique history as well as a remarkable flavor. After the gourmet coffee is hand-harvested, it is dry processed and sun-dried, resulting in a bold and winy cup with a heavy body and complex flavor. Too Dark

The coffee is too dark for a medium to light roast as described. It is more like a dark to medium roast—close to an espresso roast—over roasted . I contacted coffee AM and they insisted that the darkness was correct.

Buyer be ware that in addition to the initial shipping you also have to pay for the return shipping up front which would have added up to $27.00. I chose not to return the coffee because in the case of this company “the customer is not always right.” I will not be ordering again.
