what has happened to tea?

Maybe my tastebuds are worn out, but I can't seem to find any "traditional" (black, or breakfast) teas that have a robust flavor. I remember loving the intense scent and flavor of brands like tetley and red rose but they seem "dead" tasting now. Where is the good tea?

BTW I disapprove of the plastic mesh bags this is in - please stop adding to the plastic nanoparticles in our diet and environment!
