Grown in the Chiapas region of Mexico, Mexican ‘Altura Tollan’ coffee is a variety of Typica that is grown between 2,500 and 4,000 feet. Certified organic, this Mexican coffee brews into an exceptional cup of light-medium roast coffee with winy notes, high acidity, and a wonderful aroma. This slightly sweet brew is known to produce hints of nuts or citrus flavors.

Excellent coffee! Great aroma from bag (to grinder) to brewer to cup. Easy & smooth on the pallete, and an awesome nutty finish with hints of cocoa and fruit peels. No bitterness whatsoever. If you like nutty, then look no further than this shade-grown coffee sourced from Chiapas.This was my first order from CoffeeAM. I was very pleased with the quality of the roast, and the personalized label is a nice touch. My roommates think I'm some sort of coffee mafioso now. I'll definitely be back for more!

I have loved coffee since my thirties, but now in my mid forties it doesn't love me back as much. Many coffees mess up my stomach and/or seem more bitter. However, this coffee is just the opposite.The 'Altura Tollan' is smooth with low acid. Additionally it is not better and can easily be drunk without any sweetener. Many of my coffee friends compliment the taste of this coffee and often ask for the link of where I ordered it.

This is some of the best coffee I have had in a very long time! It is not bitter or acidic. My stomach loves me for it and I can have some in the morning without fear of stomach pains. I also like the fact that it's organic and shade grown as well as fair trade.I would recommend this item to a friend.

I was trying to find a coffee that I liked to use in our Keurig Machine. The machine was a gift ,and I love it, but I don't seem to be the typical Keurig customer. i.e. someone looking for a strong, bold taste. I tried several "light roast, breakfast blends"; but they were too acidic for my taste. I hadn't found anything I like better than my drip blend of Folgers. Then I decided that maybe what I was looking for was a mellow coffee. This was IT. I has a full flavor without tasting-(bitter, dark, bold) whatever the descriptions are for the typical coffees packaged for the Keurig. It is not acidic, and there is no aftertaste. I just love it.I would recommend this item to a friend.

I normally perfer the flavored coffees but I find this 1 lb bag is empty. I get 2 lbs a month and after the flavored coffee is gone I brew up the non-flavored. This bag is empty so I enjoyed it fully.I would recommend this item to a friend.

Coffee grown at high altitude takes longer to grow resulting in beans that are extremely flavlorful and a smooth tasting coffee. One of my favorites. Perhaps not in the same league as private estate blue mountain, but it certainly holds its own and the price difference make this coffee an outstanding bargain.I would recommend this item to a friend.

Excellent Mexican coffee with a mild and smooth taste. Comparable to the unavailable Mexican Organic that used to be offered bu another supplier in K-Cups. However if this Mexican Antura Organic was available in K-Cups it would be better than that of the other unavailable coffee. I'm just using in my own load cup and enjoying it as an excellent morning blend. Great Coffee A.M.! AAA+I would recommend this item to a friend.

I've never been much of a coffee drinker (I've been coming to CoffeeAM for their excellent teas), and most coffee that I've ever had didn't really appeal to me much. These organic Mexican beans showed me that coffee can actually taste good. It's mild with very little bitter or sour flavors, doesn't wind me up with excessive caffeine, and it doesn't upset my stomach. However, it has the most lovely aromas bringing to mind chocolate, nuts and butter. It also produces a spicy sensation in the back of my throat almost like a hint of chili pepper. This is a friendly coffee that I can look forward to drinking every day.I would recommend this item to a friend.
