Maple Bacon Flavored Coffee (1lb Bag)

This is a wonderful accompaniment to any sweet breakfast - scones, cinnamon rolls, pancakes or waffles. The blending of these flavors is so delicious. I will be back for more...

I like mild coffee, and flavored coffees often upset my stomach. This doesn't - it is very mild. And even though the fragrance is quite strong coming out of the box, the maple bacon flavor is barely discernible. So, it is easy to drink each morning, but if you want a strong maple bacon flavor, this is not the one.

We tried doing double the beans and less water and it still was a little weak.

My husband thought I was making pancakes when I was brewing this coffee. I love it...very "maple-y" and absolutely delicious!

I wasn't sure what to expect of this coffee but it came in the Exotic Flavors sampler. I had to try it, though. Although I couldn't taste the bacon at all and just tasted a hint of the maple, the coffee was pretty good. To me it tasted sort of like a spiced coffee with a slight smoky flavor. Good to drink black. I gave it four stars because I didn't taste the bacon (although I'm not sure I wanted to).

Great flavored coffee but don't let the name fool you. There is no bacon flavor in it.

This is a nice breakfast blend. The maple bacon flavor is very subtle, almost too subtle for my tastes. Don't be afraid that the flavor is overwhelming the coffee. Very nice.

I have TRIED to taste maple and bacon and get a SLIGHT maple flavor when the coffee has cooled off. I'm still waiting to taste BACON in there at all. I purchased this because I thought it would be such a good coffee at breakfast time to go with bacon and pancakes or "breakfast sandwiches" or something like that, but it has been VERY disappointing to me. Really, even letting it cool down to see if I can find the flavors at that point has hardly helped! Disappointing.

This one is more aroma than flavor, but very enjoyable. Smells like breakfast brewing!

Having read the good reviews about how it smells like breakfast cooking when its brewing...I didn't find that to be true but it does have a unique taste of maple a little on the sweet side.

I enjoyed the coffee very much, but would have liked a little more bacon flavor. The aroma is fantastic, but I didn't taste as much bacon as I would have liked after it was brewed.

Didn't taste like bacon or coffee- it was really bad. I threw it away. I tried not to select any stars-but it wouldn't let me.

The maple flavoring is so strong that it overwhelms the bacon flavor. Coffee is good though & we like maple being in Vermont, you know.

I drink this flavor every day. It is so unique. I consider it my "comfort" coffee. You will not be disappointed by this one at all.

Smell is amazing! The flavor is more of a maple flavor than bacon, which is what I would prefer.

I got this coffee as a gift for someone because he talked about getting bacon coffee for years, but never was willing to spend the money on something that could be pretty terrible. When it finally arrived, I was SO excited to give it to him and when I opened it to gift wrap it, the aroma seriously punched me in the face. It smelled AWESOME. My hair still smelled like maple the next day.

When we brewed it, the smell was maple-y at first, but then quickly changed to just a rich and delicious coffee smell. We both had similar experiences of the flavor as well: there was a hint of maple flavor, none really of bacon, and it just tasted like really good coffee. Perhaps we'll try making it stronger next time to see if that enhances the flavors

Ultimately if you're looking for a strong maple bacon flavor, that's not what you'll most likely get. What you will get is a DELICIOUS smelling bag of beans and a pretty yummy cup of coffee.

Maple Bacon Coffee - the name might seem wrong to some people, but I was intrigued. After brewing several pots of coffee, I can say I'm very pleased though I haven't tasted much of a bacon flavor. I ran out of the plain coffee my husband drinks, and he had to drink my bacon maple coffee.... and he liked it enough that I didn't have to run out and buy his boring plain coffee. I will be buying more of this in the future.

This coffee was a hit at my office. It's extremely fragrant and got people curious immediately. Be prepared for a very potent maple aroma, but the bacon aspect is a bit absent. We had to use quite a bit of this to brew up a strong pot but it was enjoyed by all for several days.

I enjoyed this flavor very much and would order again. If they are offering a sample coffee too, remember to say you want it; I forgot to check I wanted and missed out.
