I found the Italian roast to be exactly what I had anticipated; not too strong, but with with a full body and absolutely no bitterness. The roast that I received from CoffeeAm.com is what ALL good coffee should be.I would recommend this item to a friend.

I love dark roasts and this is as good as you can get without paying through the nose, The beans are uniformly dark and the surface oiis indicate that it is roasted as they should be, I would prefer a higher quality bean and a little extra roast time but for the money it is good.Pros:

I took a risk and bought the 5-pound bag of this sight unseen. I was not disappointed. Nice strong rich flavor. I'm a big Starbucks fan and this as good of quality as their House Blend or Italian Blend. Their drip-grind is a bit finer than normal but it did not seem to affect the flavor.Pros:

If you enjoy rich, bold coffee, you'll love Italian Roast. CoffeeAM provides it in perfect bags and roasts it just for you. I buy the five pound bag because it's less expensive long term. It lasts me a full month and, yes, it keeps every bit of its flavor. I put the coffee in special canisters and put what I'm not going to use within a week in the fridge. Works great for me.Pros:
