I used to order from another online coffee site for years, Then the recipe for the decaf french roast changed & when I inquired, they could not "get" the decaf beans anymore? I decided to try coffee a.m. and I am very pleased. Plus the price is less. It is very close to the decaf I remember, even better. I have served it to numerous friends and family, who have each exclaimed how good the coffee smells and tastes. When I offer them a refill, they state, "I better not have anymore caffeine this late" I enthusiastically announce "It's decaf!" Which of course leads to refills and making another pot of coffee. I like my coffee strong and have found it makes a wonderful iced coffee as well. I would recommend this item to a friend.

The taste of this coffee alone is the big reason I'll be ordering again (and again). It's full-bodied and rich, not acidic, but with a pleasant crispness. Here's why I ordered in the first place. I keep asking for a coffee grinder as a gift, but I keep getting "better" stuff instead. So I ordered the Decaf French Roast because I'm tired of grinding my beans at the grocery, only to discover my decaf French Roast is tainted by Almond-Mint-Raspberry-Chicory-Mocha-Apricot because no one bothered to read the "unflavored" sign! And I'm always running out of the "good" stuff and have to settle for the big-tub, big-brand decaf I keep in the deep freeze. Well, no more. One sip of this beyond-fresh brew, and I'm signing up for monthly delivery from CoffeeAM. Damn, it's good! Fresh ground AND fresh roasted AND it's deep and rich and sparkling as a topaz mine? I was spoiled in Baltimore's inner harbor where I could buy fresh roasted coffee beans that were just unloaded, but I have found the same quality and taste in the decaf french roast from Coffee AM and the cost is so much less than what I was paying! Been a CoffeeAM.com member since the start. I even had the t-shirt. Wore it out. I made a change and tried a blend decaf, the French roast. Pleasant surprise. Nicely dark roasted, oily bean with a knock out aroma. After pouring into my air tight container I had a little left that I kept in the silver foil bad and put in my pantry. Came down the next morning to a wonderful aroma of fresh roasted coffee beans. Nice.I would recommend this item to a friend.

I have not told my husband that he is drinking decaf he can detect decaf right away because of the quality. I wanted to switch him over for health reasons, I can tell the difference because he is not as jittery. This is an excellent coffee you won't be disappointed if you are looking for a decaf.I would recommend this item to a friend.

I mix Starbucks cafe french roast (husband's choice) with decaf french roast to cut down on my caffeine. I have never found a satisfying roast and I have tried many. I took a chance and ordered the 5 lbs. The flavor and roast is excellent. I am very happy with the purchase!I would recommend this item to a friend.

Love the rich flavor---I had some trouble with the grinf---It appeared to be a FINE grind not the drip grind I was expecting.The grind was so fine I could not use it in my K cup maker.
Still love your coffee though.

I was a little hesitant to buy decaf coffee, but the reviews had been good ones, and I trusted that.I typically do not drink a French Roast coffee. But for Decaf it makes perfect sense. You need the flavor of the roast to dominate. This French Roast Decaf fooled everyone I served it to. They couldn't believe it wasn't "hi-test"!

We liked the taste of the coffee very much. However, we had to use more beans in order to receive the strong flavor we like and have had with some other brands. We drink ALOT of coffee and have tried many. At this point, we would probably order this again if the price stayed as the sale price is, but not for the regular price.I would recommend this item to a friend.
