I like the coffee, and cannot fault the shipping or the packaging, both were excellent. Top notch service and I am satisfied. Pros:
Everything about the transaction.Cons:
The coffee does not taste as fresh roasted as I had hoped, but that is a personal preference.I would recommend this item to a friend.

Have searched high and low for El Salvadoran coffee locally. This coffee beats ALL of them and now will not have to bring it back with us each time we go to El Salvador. I would recommend to anyone.I would recommend this item to a friend.
Best one yet

By Craig from New Jersey on April 10, 2013
I'm slowly working my way through all of the organic coffee choices from Coffee A.M. This El Salvador is my favorite so far. Really nice taste of some bright notes (a bit fruity maybe) with some dark notes - but overall still a mild taste. Also works well as a double-strong brew that can be iced with an amazing taste.I would recommend this item to a friend.

This coffee is extremely light and pleasant. I find that it has a slightly nutty flavor and is very nice to drink without food while working or reading. The beans are fairly small.I would recommend this item to a friend.

A genuine morning pleasure.

Between the harsh earnestness of the dark roasts and the dishwater swill of diner coffee, I have at last found the kind of coffee, which in its balance, sweetness, and elegant body, has turned a mere habit to a genuine morning pleasure. It is the Salvadoran coffee Cuzcachapa.I would recommend this item to a friend.
Very good bean, great value.

By Mike from Muskegon, MI on December 7, 2011
I read a detailed article about organic El Salvador coffee, geography, growing and processing techniques. I decided to seek out unblended beans that (so far as I can tell) follow all the best techniques from before industrialization of coffee.I knew something would be different when the UPS lady said she was going to miss my package, since her truck had smelled so terrific all day (the beans were air-tight sealed). This is very aromatic, oily, earthy coffee.
As the article I read suggested, I switched to a french press and burr grinder. The latter I found a hand crank version, a glass jar with a screw on hopper and crank. At first, the coffee tasted good but not great, but after a week of adjusting the mix and the size of the ground, it's very yummy. I also am loving the coffee making ritual. In under ten minutes... I wash last nights' dishes while water's boiling and coffee's steeping.
I give it four stars, only because I had very high expectations for taste... but I'm probably more used to 'breakfast" coffee blends. I can't stand the coffee Starbucks uses. This is something else and has grown on me. It may be a five for you.
As for price, it's a great value. About what you'll pay per pound for any bean coffee at the market.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
