Decaf Green Sencha Tea 2 lb Bag

Japan Sencha is a decaffeinated traditional green tea of excellent quality with big leaves. It is bright cup of tea and has the Japanese taste you expect. Green teas have been neither fermented nor withered. Instead, the leaves are simply sterilized in steam, hot air, or hot pans to prevent fermentation. The leaves are picked in spring therefore producing a green color leaf and light, pale, greenish-yellow sparkling liquor often with considerable aroma, body and flavor. This tea is distinct because of its slight vegetal notes.

Sencha, which is produced in Japan, Taiwan, and China is an everyday tea commonly found in homes and offices throughout Asia. A daily tea at a fair price
By Lionel from Seattle on August 3, 2011
A mild-tasting green tea, without the bitterness/tannins of some. Easy to order, efficient shipping.
I brew up 4 teaspoons for four cups, 170 deg water, 2 min seep, and keep it in a thermos. The second brew from the same leaves I seep for 3 -4 min, and the third is seeped for 5 mins. That way I have fairly fresh tea all day, and maybe 12 cups from 4 teaspoonfuls.
Pros:
Mild taste
Good value
Efficient shipping
Cons:
Light on the real green tea taste (grassy) that I would want for , say, an after dinner tea

I would recommend this item to a friend.
