I have to say, in all honesty, that my switch to CoffeeAM was one of my better decisions in a retail world that sometimes provides way too many choices. I've tried a variety of coffees from their vast offerings and am constantly amazed. No matter what continent, region or country of origin - each batch has helped start my day with wonderful aromas and most importantly. great taste. I feel very fortunate to be able to keep these sometimes mysterious bean selections in my overall budget. That being said, the Mesa de los Santos is now at the top of my list. I seldom purchase the same coffee twice but am making an exception with this Colombian delight. I've been a life long coffee drinker having had my first cup at about twelve years of age. Without giving away too much personal information, I can say, without hesitation, that this fair-trade coffee has been one of the highlights of fifty-eight years worth of coffee consumption. Not to be flippant but the old TV commercial says it best: "Try it, you'll like it."I would recommend this item to a friend.

I started really drinking coffee about two years ago, when I was offered a cup by someone who had purchased it on a trip to Columbia. It was early in the morning and I was trying to get some energy but after the first sip, I was hooked. I had never had such smooth and great tasting coffee. In the past couple of years I tried several different brands of Colombian coffee but never found one that could even compare until now. This coffee is very smooth and light, it almost melts in your mouth. It also does not have a bitter aftertaste.

This is the most excellent coffee we've ever tried. Most coffee flavors blend in with other things - conversation or the food you're having it with - but this stuff makes you take special notice of it.Pros:

This fantastic coffee was rich and flavorful without being too strong. The aroma is surprisingly delicate and the subtlety did not end there. The first sip was like a piece of silk made of rich earth was leaving the cup. As the liquid slides down, there came hints of nuttiness with a slight nip of tart undertones. Every sip built another layer of flavor upon that glorious foundation. The overall cup was refreshing and delicious, just right to start the day. I found this coffee to be one of the most affordable cups of black gold I have ever found. I would recommend this item to a friend.

This coffee has a great aroma, so be sure to take it in as you drink. It is remarkably sweet and balanced. The acidity is there, but has a classic Colombian balance which makes it very smooth.Unfortunatly, my bag was improperly heat sealed so half way through, bean were falling out of the bottom although the bag wasn't even as much as dropped. My enjoyment was cut short for that as it didn't take but a day of two to ruin the flavor. But I won't lower the rating for something that has nothing to do with the quality of the bean itself.
