The name Borgia is associated with a city in southern Italy and also from an infamous Spanish-Italian family that dates back to the late 1400's. Perhaps this is the reason why this flavored coffee recipe entails strong Italian coffee and grated orange peel. Since this family is from Valencia, a region in Spain famous for its exceptional orange trees, this might explain the essence of orange peels that give this coffee its citrus kick. In this intense Italian coffee taste, there is a perfect balance of hot dark chocolate and cool whipped cream flavoring with a splash of citrusy flair to liven up your coffee cup.
Pack a little Italy into your coffee cup and travel the world with your taste buds. Close your eyes and let our Café Borgia flavored coffee take you there! Enjoy!

OMG! indescribable flavor...

By Sherry from Sugar Grove, PA on February 28, 2012
It had the best of everything....coffee, dark chocolate, and orange! It was everything I expected and hoped for. (I tried 6 flavors on my first order, and it would be hard to pick the "winner" between Borgia and white-chocolate-covered cherry, so I won't even try--I'll just keep both "in stock.")I would recommend this item to a friend.
My Favorite!!!

By LindaK from Rhode Island on August 5, 2011
I LOVE this coffee. It is the perfect combination of chocolate with just a hint of citrus. This is my absolute favorite flavored coffee that you have on this site. It's not overpowering like some of the flavored coffees can be such as the blueberry.I would recommend this item to a friend.

Borgia

By Shannon Stockton from Idaho on July 2, 2011
This coffee's aroma is citrusy, but the flavor is a combination of many things. I don't have the eloquent words to describe this in gourmet terms, but this coffee is a smooth, full flavored delight. Not sweet, not bitter, an overall beautiful flavor.Pros:
I liked the smoothness, the flavors.I would recommend this item to a friend.

Mellow Coffee Needs An Extra Boost of Flavor

By blkcats from San Jose, CA on July 5, 2012
Cafe Borgia flavored coffee didn't quite meet up to my expectations for a chocolate flavored-citrus-infused / inspired coffee because while it has flavor - the flavor it has is mellow and in my opinion needs the extra essence of more citrus to take it to the next level where I could actually savor its orange aroma and taste. Very delicious coffee!

I love flavored coffee, but this was extremely good.I would recommend this item to a friend.
Weak flavoring

By Greg Skoglund from Tatamy, Pa. on January 30, 2012
Coffee AM seems to have a problem with the flavoring process. The Holiday Grogg ordered with this Cafe Borgia had so much flavoring I have to use 1/2 regular coffee and half Holiday Grogg. Even then the flavoring is pretty overpowering. The Cafe Borgia has virtually no flavoring whatsoever and very litlle aroma. While the Holiday Grogg is totally wet with flavoring, the Cafe Borgia has only a minute trace of wetness (flavoring) at the bottom of the bag.
Just a few months ago I had a pound of Bananas Foster that had no flavoring whatsoever.
I fear I will have to give up flavored coffee from Coffee AM
Very Good

This coffee was very good. I could definitely taste the chocolate. The only disappointment was I could barely taste the orange flavor.I would recommend this item to a friend.
