Burundi AA Kirimiro Coffee (5lb Bag)

Burundi, also called the "Land of a Thousand Hills," is a tiny country surrounded by Tanzania, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Coffee is their primary cash crop, and the farmers have mastered the art of sustainable mountain agriculture. They understand and respect the delicate balance of their envionment, and they only grow Arabica coffee.

With a heavy mouthful, flavors of lemon, black tea, delicate hints of spiced clove, and a sweet nutty finish, this light-roasted coffee is something you've never tried before! We know you'll love it as soon as you take that very first sip.

Great coffee

The aroma of the whole-bean is magnificent. It's even better once ground. It's a lighter roast than what I'm used to but it has smoothe taste and its low acidity is a plus. with I drink mine with a little cream and sugar. Like it.

Smooth with low acidity and a few unique flavor tones. I highly recommend it when you are craving a lighter roast.

Exceptional coffee. Not too acidic, so I can enjoy more than one cup. Good brewed at various strengths with or without additions like cream or sugar.

Expensive @ $8.59 per pound

Expensive & the 5 lbs bag's flavor not as good as the half pound sample coffee's flavor. Don't know why when I bought this 5 pound bag, the flavor not as good as the free one.

Very Smooth and Consistent Flavor

We've purchased the whole bean and ground Burundi AA Kirimiro coffee over the last few months. Both have been consistently smooth and gentle in taste. Our new favorite.

Kirimiro roast brought back memories of my recent trip to Burundi!

Rich, full-bodied. I'd describe it as a medium dark roast with very strong flavor, but without the bitterness sometimes accompanying stronger roasts. (It brought back memories of my recent trip to Burundi!)

When my coffee provider of years decided to get into politics, I decided to seek out another provider. This was a blessing in disguise! After my first call to Coffee AM by phone and placing an order of what I had always been drinking, the gentleman then asked me what my tastes were in coffee. I found this to be a breath of fresh air that a company was actually interested in helping me find what I wanted. We talked and talked and he suggested the Burundi AA Kirimiro as my 1/2 lb freebie promotion that they were offering at the time. I had never heard of this, was skeptical but reluctantly said....OK. I order in 5 lb bags to make it more cost effective. So while enjoying the French curiosity was getting the best of me and I finally made a pot of the Burundi AA Kirimiro one weekend for my wife and I. OMG we both said...this is one of the best cups of coffee we've ever had..and we've been ordering it by the 5 lb bag ever since. I would HIGHLY recommend the Burundi AA Kirimiro to anyone that loves a full flavored coffee with a smooth finish. It's simply the best coffee you will have...just short of a Hawaiian or Jamaica Blue Mountain...but without the high price that those coffees demand. Good morning! :-)
