Burundi, also called the "Land of a Thousand Hills," is a tiny country surrounded by Tanzania, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Coffee is their primary cash crop, and the farmers have mastered the art of sustainable mountain agriculture. They understand and respect the delicate balance of their envionment, and they only grow Arabica coffee.
With a heavy mouthfeel, flavors of lemon, black tea, delicate hints of spiced clove, and a sweet nutty finish, this light-roasted coffee is something you've never tried before! We know you'll love it as soon as you take that very first sip.

Very Good

I worked on a economic development project to help develop the Burundi coffee sector from 2010 - 2012 so when I came across Burundi Kirimiro coffee for sale I was excited to try it. It was delicious; balanced and clean with good acidity. My family loved it too. I liked the packaging as well.I would recommend this item to a friend.

Weak, lacks depth...definitely not a favorite. Received in the coffee club, would not order it on my own. Smooth Unique Flavor... Love it.

This was my first experience buying online from CoffeeAM. I may not be able to pronounce it, but I love this coffee. Very smooth... and it helps that you get a full pound.I would recommend this item to a friend.
Starts out smooth, ends with a chicory flavor.

By Bruce from Suwanee on May 3, 2013
My oldest son loves this coffee because of the chicory taste at the end. For that reason, Burundi is not a favorite of mine. It begins rich in flavor, but the slightly bitter after taste lowers my rating. Best coffee beans I've ever used. It's delicious.

Makes a really great cup of coffee and it holds well in a thermos. Can't believe we ever found this bean.I would recommend this item to a friend.
